Well, so was 2014. Globally, Denmark continues to lead the way in electricity generation from wind power. <\/p>\n<p>In 2015, Denmark got 42 percent of its electricity from wind sources, breaking a world record. Breaking <em>its own<\/em> world record from the previous year, to more precise. In 2014, Denmark used wind power to generate about 39 percent of its electricity. Regardless, the country put together some historically impressive output.<\/p>\n<p>One one extremely windy day in 2015, Denmark produced 140 percent of its electricity demands from wind sources.
